If the area of the larger square is subtracted from twice the area of the smaller square, then the result is 8 cm^2. However, if 3 times the area of the smaller square is added to 2 times the area of the larger square, then the result is 236 cm^2. Determine the side of the two squares.

Let's Area of larger square=AxA=A cm^2
and Area of smaller square=axa=a cm^2
2a^2-A^2=8.....................(i)
3a^2+2A^2=236............(ii)
simplify (i) & (ii)
we get a=6 cm & A =8 cm
Ans: Side of smaller square=6 cm
& Side of Larger square=8 cm

a-2b=8 ~ a=8+2b ~ a=8+72
3b+2a=236 ~ 3b+16+4b= 236 ~ 7b=252 ~ b=36~ side of smaller square = 6cm
108+2a=236 ~ 2a=128 ~ a=64 ~ side of larger square = 8cm
