How many kms will the hare have to travel before meeting the tortoise en route?

Haretown and Tortoiseville are 45 kms apart. A hare travels at 7 kms per hour from Haretown to Tortoiseville, while a tortoise travels at 2 kms per hour from Tortoiseville to Haretown.

If both set out at the same time, how many kms will the hare have to travel before meeting the tortoise en route?

hare have to travel 35 kms before meeting the tortoise en route.
So Answer is 35 kms.
