If we take the weight of the plank to be W which will be acting at the mid point of the plank we can continue by taking,
Moment at F1 = 0 ie.,
W*((l/2)-(l/8)) - F2*(5l/8) =0
F2 = W (3/5).
Similarly moment at F2 =0
W ((l/2)-(l/4)) - F1*(5l/8) = 0
F1 = W (2/5)
Therefore F1/F2 = 2/3.

A train covers a certain distance at a uniform speed.
If the train had been 8 km per hour faster, it would have taken 3 hours less than the scheduled time and if the train was slower by 8 km per hour it would have taken 5 hour more than the schedule time.
Find length of the journey.

I have two arms and a back,
Supported by four legs.
But there is something I do lack,
Actually, I have no eyes to see.

I also cannot move around,
Or at least, not on my own.
Unfortunately I can make no sound,
Except perhaps a squeak.

If you chop off my head,
You are left with a hair.
If you chop off my tail,
Only tea is left there.

One more clue I will add,
Is that you often use me.
Yet you barely ever notice,
In fact I'd much rather be a tree.

What am I?
