Both are equal.
3^4 + 3^4 + 3^4 => If we take common (3^4) from this:
=>> (3^4)(1+1+1)
=>> (3^4)(3)
=>> 3^5
So, 3^4 + 3^4 + 3^4 == 3^5

I think the two are equal since 3^4 + 3^4 + 3^4 = 3*3^4 = 3^(1+4) = 3^5
