2*2=4
2+2=4
So 2 must be an answer.
but
0*0=0
0+0=0
So 0 also be one of the answer.

THE SOLUTIONS ARE;
1) 2+2=4
2*2=4
2)0+0=0
0*0=0
3) IT CONSIST OF AN IMAGINARY PART. SINCE IT IS NOT MENTIONED ABOUT REAL OR IMAGINARY NUMBER

2(i)^(4n) + 2(I)^(4n)=4(I)^(4n)=4
2(I)^(4n)*2(I)^(4n)=4(I)^(8n)=4
THE ANSWERS ARE 2,0,2(i)^(4n)

2 x 2 = 4
2 + 2 = 4

Supposed that, the number is n.
According to the condition,
n*n = n+n
⇒ n² = 2n
⇒ n²-2n = 0
⇒ n(n-2) = 0
So, n=0
Or, n-2 = 0 ⇒n=2
