There were only three persons. A grand father, his son(also a father) and his son. So there are two fathers and two sons. No need to divide the three apples into four parts.

Grand FATHER->FATHER->son

SO 2 FATHER AND 2 SON..BUT 3 PERSON AND 3 APPLE.

Alternate option: Take 3 apples, put in juicer.. and pour equally in glass. :) Enjoy..!!

But others answer are also correct..!! Grandfather(1),son of grandfather & father of son (2) and child (3)

1. Son.....
2. His Father......(Father)
3. His Father.... (Grand Father)

So...... 2 Sons & 2 Fathers
But only 3 Person in actual..........

As they have 3 Apple....Each take one...............& no need to cut
