The question can be re phrased into, what is the probability that the last digit chosen is an even number:
This probability = 2/3
Therefore the combinations that are even = (2/3)*6 = 4
All the possible combinations:
2, 3, 8
2, 8, 3
3, 2, 8
3, 8, 2
8, 2, 3
8, 3, 2
4 out of 6 of them are even = { (2, 3, 8), (3, 2, 8), (8, 3, 2), (3, 8, 2) }
