(3/2) = p/k
(p - (10×3/5))/(k - (10×2/5) + 10) = 2/3
(p - 6)/(k + 6) = 2/3
2k + 12 = 3p - 18
3p - 2k = 30
3(3k/2) - 2k = 30
k = 12
p = 12 × 3/2 = 18

Which means initially
Petrol = 18 Litres
Kerosene = 12 Litres
Total = 30 Litres

& afterwards
Petrol = 18 - (10×3/5) = 12 Litres
Kerosene = 12 - (10×2/5) + 10 = 18 Litres
Total = 30 Litres.
