So it is the next day. A woman is walking along a path in a forest when she comes to a bridge that crosses a small river. During her approach she sees a man with a menacing sword in one hand and a pistol in the other. It looked weird.
She walked up to him and ask if she can pass.
He says, "No. You cannot pass but I'll let you choose the way you die, gunshot to the head with my pistol or decapitation by my sword."
"Say anything you want. If I believe it's true, I will shoot you in the head. If what you say is false, I will cut your head off. Think carefully."
The woman thought for a few minutes and then spoke a single sentence to the man. He looked at her, slumped his shoulders and let her pass.
