Correction:::: it must be 30% NOT 305

Let the square be of side a units Area of square = a^2

New rectangle has dimensions length== 1.3a units
breadth== 1.2a units

Area of rectangle formed === 1.3a*1.2a === 1.56a^2

Area of rectangle - Area of square === 1.56a^2 - a^2 === .56a^2

hence Area of rectangle is 56% more than Area of Square
